For more than a century, our company has been founded on values shared by our customers, suppliers and teams. Solidarity is at the heart of our commitment, particularly through our partnership with the Fondation École de Félix, which is recognised as being in the public interest. Together, we are fighting poverty in Madagascar and the Mascareignes region.
Our company actively supports the Fondation École de Félix, which fights poverty by facilitating access to education and health for disadvantaged populations in the Ankarana National Park region and Akamasoa, the village founded by Father Pédro Opéka in Madagascar. At present, almost 900 pupils from the age of 3 are benefiting from this support, which follows them through to the BEPC and, for those with a passion for cooking, the CAP Cuisine.

The OSO® estate is actively committed to sustainable development and the well-being of local communities. Two drinking water supply systems, stretching over 14 km, have been installed, ensuring reliable access to drinking water for the surrounding population.
In the village of Ampampamena, an exemplary system for the selective sorting of municipal waste has been introduced. This innovative system significantly reduces environmental pollution, limits health risks and helps to prevent pest invasions, thereby helping to create a cleaner, healthier environment for everyone.
wo high-quality medical centres have been set up to offer comprehensive healthcare services to the entire population of the Ankarana, including a maternity unit and a pharmacy.
These health centres, which are entirely free of charge, are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing continuous care for everyone, including employees of the estate.
Thanks to these facilities, the region’s inhabitants have uninterrupted access to high-quality medical care, considerably improving their quality of life.

The OSO® estate, located at the foot of the Tsingy de l’Ankarana National Park, covers 3,917 hectares, including 1,000 hectares of mangroves, a veritable natural treasure in the heart of Madagascar. Biodiversity flourishes in all its splendour, home to exotic fauna and flora that is unique in the world. From mischievous lemurs to delicate orchids, every corner of this estate celebrates the magic of nature. With its endemic flora and fauna, our organic estate is rich in a biodiversity that is unique in the world.
Maison Reynaud is committed to preserving nature, the mangrove and all the associated plant species, protecting ecosystems and developing conservation plans on our organic estate and throughout the northern region of Madagascar.
30 full-time team members are dedicated to protecting the environment – in particular the mangroves – of our organic estate in Madagascar, as part of our ambition to offset our carbon footprint.
Since the creation of OSO®, more than 1.6 million trees have been planted.

With its endemic flora and fauna, this region boasts a biodiversity that is unique in the world.
Mangrove forests are an exceptional and irreplaceable ecosystem, both fragile and limited. They are extremely sensitive to variations in water salinity and climate change.
Indispensable as a vital habitat for most marine and terrestrial species, mangroves form a natural protection for our biological domain, acting as a veritable ‘green belt’. They also represent a huge potential carbon offset for all our activities.
The OSO® estate is not only a haven for exceptional biodiversity, it is also home to rare and valuable endemic species such as the Bernier’s Teal and Humblot’s Heron. These two birds, which are unique to Madagascar, find a sanctuary in this area, where they can live and breed in complete safety. Bernier’s Teal, a duck with a distinctive plumage, and Humblot’s Heron, majestic with its impressive wingspan, are symbols of the island’s natural wealth. Their protection is a priority on the estate, helping to preserve Madagascar’s unique ecological heritage.
