The history of Maison Reynaud

Seafood specialist since 1924

Paulette Reynaud arrived in Paris as a teenager, living a few meters away from the fish pavilion at Les Halles de Paris, and was taken with a passion for seafood. She offered to work for a wholesaler for free for 3 months in the fish department and took the bet that he would want to hire her afterwards.

This is how Maison Reynaud was born in 1924. Paulette’s love of fishmongering was passed on from generation to generation. A century later, Stéphane Reynaud, her great-grandson, perpetuates its values. In 2009, the family grew thanks to the fusion of Maison Reynaud with OSO®, the world pioneer in the breeding of organic Gambas from Madagascar.

From the sea to the plate, Maison Reynaud is a leading player, committed to a sustainable and responsible approach.
